Spjället & Pottungen
280 apartments on Väster in Lund connected into a shared internal LKF grid where properties share locally produced and stored electricity.
LKF’s existing residential area Spjället/Pottungen on Väster in Lund is the first neighbourhood-scale EnergyNet. Around 280 individual electricity subscriptions are replaced by a shared internal grid owned by LKF, in which the properties share solar production and battery storage locally.
The system combines rooftop solar, battery storage and an internal DC network with energy routers that, like the internet, direct, distribute and store energy between properties according to rules set by the energy community. Surplus is used where it does most good and load on the overlying grid is reduced.
Excavation started in February 2026. Kraftringen handles grid connection and evaluation; ViaEuropa supplies the EnergyNet technology.
